So after 24 hours of solid travel, we reached our destination. Unbelievable scenery – glaciers, mammoth waterfalls, freezing fjords…This will truly be epic. 3 very exhausted guys here finally going to get some sleep. Here’s a few shots from the day.
The boys arrive in Oslo and all the gear made it.
Tim, Dag..Dag, Tim.
Eric playing with his GoPro – this shot turned out really cool – can’t wait for all of E’s footage to be seen.
Still Smiling after nearly 20 hrs of travel and 5 hrs of driving still to go.
Checking out some gorgeous sections of the bike course.
E trying to get the perfect angle on a double rainbow
Other than a night’s stay at the race finish area tomorrow night, this will be our home for the duration.
Our cabin – complete with ridiculously cool view from the deck.
That’s it folks – we’re exhausted and going to try and get some sleep. A handful of the race support crew are racing the full event tomorrow (Sat), so we’ll be getting up to check the course out more thoroughly and get Tim onto more sections of the course. He’ll ride the last 90Km of the course tomorrow and take a dip in the 55 degree (F) fjord. We’ll also be running the back half of the marathon so we can get a better look at the hardcore final miles of the straight uphill gnarly trail.
