Well, I wish the day was a little more calm so we could enjoy a little R&R before the craziness that will be Saturday, but the truth is that it was a madhouse most of the day. Endurance Maximus has rocked all week and the partners are all psyched to be a part of something truly unique and different.
Here’s a few shots from yesterday – it was honestly hard to pull the camera out as things were happening pretty fast and furious. As for Tim, he’s quietly confident. He’s been around long enough to know that even the best laid plains still need a bit of luck with Madam Pele and the island. He’s feeling good, he’s healthy and he’s had a full season of racing under his belt. Everything is good at this point.
I’ll be headed to Tim’s private pre-race sanctuary and hope to snag a few pre-race shots. Twitter sounds like the best bet for updates, but also check Tim’s own website for updates as well. I may try to post some shots mid-race if I’m able. Til then.
The bike is turned in and Tim’s headed back home for chill time.
The view from Endurance Maximus – start/finish line is going up.
Off to the Competitor Group’s First Annual TGNIR Party.
Little Swag from the party
It was a long day, a longer nite and tomorrow will be really long. Hoping to get a few more shots posted while they’re on the bike. Thanks to everyone for their well wishes for Tim. He really appreciates all the kind words.
