Day 2 at Hy-Vee – and still it rains..

Just throwing up a few more shots from the first half of Sunday at the Hy-Vee Triathlon. Crazy rains and even more crazy fans, as the expo turned into a feeding frenzy of near looting proportions – very odd indeed.
On the racing front, Emma Snowsill was running in a different zone than any other girl – she most definitely deserved the victory.

More shots to follow from the men’s race and the second half of the day at the expo. Not surprising to See TIm Don take the victory – once you saw him in the lead pack at the second transition, all you needed to do was remember that a couple weeks ago he ran sub 29 for a 10km in Europe – the boy was fit. EC favorite, Simon Whitfield, had an off day on the run and I’m sure he’s kicking himself, but he’s an experienced pro and knows that there are more battles to be won. Got some great shots however, that we’ll be posting.

For now, EC is back on the road and heading back to Boulder. Even in extremely rough conditions, we still killed it at the expo. We’ve got a few special edition Clyde’s left – first come, first serve if you email us directly, at
