Amstel Gold - one of the Ardennes Classics stemming from the province of Limburg in the Netherlands. The race has been sponsored by Amstel Bier since it's first race back in 1966. It traditionally marks the turning point of the spring classics, with the "puncheurs" replacing the cobbled classics riders as the favourites. For the first time, Amstel will be raced in the week between Flanders and Roubaix for 2022.
