It's always been a challenge to maintain my fitness while enduring a heavy travel schedule. One item that always made my packing list for the road was a deck of cards. Not only did it help pass the time at airports, but it also was a great tool for keeping my hotel room workouts fresh - ie: hearts are pushups, spades are crunches.... simple, but a good workout nonetheless. After years of carrying the same old deck around, I decided a change was in order.

Last year I decided to challenge myself creatively and design a custom deck of Endurance Conspiracy playing cards. So, armed with a stockpile of cycling art and plenty of time during the final stretches of the covid lockdown, I dug in.

What shook out was a deck of 52 unique cards - each card designed with original art from the past several years of EC. The cards are a broad mix of old EC classic's and new unseen originals pulled from the archives. Since every graphic is cycling related, I added the current UCI World Cycling Schedule, as well as, a "deck of pain" workout plan for those days where your hotel room doubles as a gym.

This has been the longest project to date for the EC brand. I'm especially proud of the final product after so much passion and effort went into it. I'm hopeful that our fans will find it as fun and rewarding as we did.
