Endurance Conspiracy Drops First NFT Collection on Opensea
In a continuing effort to expand and grow our offerings here at Endurance Conspiracy, we just launched our first collection of NFT's on the Opensea NFT Marketplace.
Our inaugural launch is a collection of unique NFT's sharing an appreciation for the rich culture and history of the cycling world, while embracing the more casual aspects of the sport. All original art drawn by EC Artist, Tony DeBoom, the graphics are portraits of some of the more famous, as well as, lesser known, characters and moments preserved within the annals of cycling lore, pop culture and everything in between. They embody a snapshot of EC history over the past decade.
We opted to sell our first offering on the tried and trusted Ethereum blockchain platform. We are well aware of the environmental cost of dealing with cryptocurrency, however Ethereum confirmed in May of 2021 that they will go through a complete overhaul this year which will reduce the energy consumption by almost 99 percent and make the energy consumption of Ethereum 2.0 nearly zero. Additionally, Opensea.io has confirmed that they will be implementing a more eco-friendly minting process in the near future.
Each graphic will be minted on the blockchain as 1 of 1, becoming part of EC history, never to be duplicated. In addition to the digital art, and because we're an art and apparel manufacturer, of course we're giving away the goods as well. The purchaser will also be presented with distinct NFT merchandise, to include:
-A hi-res image of the graphic
-A one-of-a-kind 18” x 24” poster of your NFT artwork on museum-quality giclée matte paper
-Authenticity Card PDF
-An EC t-shirt with the NFT graphic printed on 100% organic ring spun cotton
-The EC deck of playing cards that inspired the EC Collection
We're pretty excited about this first collection. It's a real smattering of EC cycling art over the past decade. Head on over and have a look, and if you have questions, requests and/or comments, please feel free to reach out.
